Tech permeates through to your inner layers!
Would not have expected new technology to impact the underwater industry outside of materials/fabric. Who knew the “ballpark pouch” would be so revolutionary... I love it! I was skeptical at first as it appears you have to make adjustments to “fit”’ inside. That was not the case at all! I pulled them on and off throughout the day/evening and everything always fell right into place. It’s comfortable and you don’t notice why until you take them on/off and feel that extra mesh lining. Perfect for slim fitting this pants where usually you have to make some adjustments. No adjustments all day when I tried these! Only thing is they were slightly big. Should have gotten a smaller size which wasn’t an option at the time.
I'm a convert
I rolled my eyes at the cutesy-vulgar name for a few years, then decided to grow and try a pair. Call me a convert. It's not easy to describe what these do, but it's kinda like the old bra commercials where they "cross over, lift and separate." There's this internal underwear flap-structure that partitions your upper legs from your man-parts, eliminating any skin-to-skin chafing and providing a little soothing flap of fabric in a spot that's normally occupied by nothing except maybe a layer of sweat. I like the Saxx Quest's super-light material. I also bought a pair of Saxx called the Vibe, with the same design but a more traditional cottony brief material, and I like the Quest lightweight a lot better ... at least in summer.
Versatile, functional, comfortable, breathable..
I have to admit, I have been skeptical about Saxx for a while...I found the name to be a bit hokey, but I am a convert. I was given these to test, and have had them for at least 3 weeks. I have work them in a variety of conditions, daily to work, hiking in Hawaii, running, toi the gym, etc..I have no complaints. They are easy to maintain and clean. They dont acquire odors. They have been comfortable right out of the box. At first, I thought the colors were a bit wonky, but they have served as a refreshing change from the othery gray, black, or blue boxer briefs in my drawer. In fact, because I know that they are comfortable, when I see them in a stack of fresh laundry, I go for them preferentially. I personally also personally prefer the 5" inseam because longer ones that I wear alsways seem to bunch.
Not for me
I was very interested to try this underwear after reading all the rave reviews, but they were disappointing. Here's why: 1. The picture on the website, a three dimensional portrait of the briefs, indicates a snug, supportive fit. At size 31, I fit the size small, but found the boxer briefs to be baggy and saggy. Sure the "ball-park" keeps the boys in their own compartment, but there is no support within an hour of putting them on. I like a jock-like support that lasts all day. 2. They pull up too high. I like to wear my underwear with the waistband at about my hip bone. These pull up almost to my belly-button.
Great for active and everyday
These are incredibly soft and supportive, it's almost like wearing nothing but better! They breath so well and keep things dry better than anything I've ever tried. I was iniitally skeptical of the pouch, but it does a good job of letting everything breath and move around as needed while still providing support and keeping everything in place. I really love these underwear for more active days like hiking, camping, and bicycling as they can easily make it through without getting funky or bunching up and causing chafing. For fit, be sure to follow the chart, I normally buy large but the sizing chart suggested a medium and was 100% right.
Comfort and Function
I found the Saxx Quest 2.0 to be quite possibly the most comfortable boxer briefs that I have ever owned. They not only feel great on, but perform well with amazing moisture management capabilities and even after a hard day or hiking or rock climbing felt fresh. I didn’t experience any chafing or hot spots in these underpants, and they didn’t pull down in the back when I bent over for yoga. Simply for information, the pouch or hammock feature does take a little getting used to...I haven’t worn any underwear with this feature before and it initially felt a little strange. I am 100% sold on it now though!
not the quest 2.0
So I purchased these a couple weeks ago abs when I received the package I opened it to find that they didn't match the current quest 2.0 that I have, the quality is different and so are the tags, I reported this to them that these are not the correct ones so they could correct the advertising for this. But it looks like they haven't, they must assume no one else will notice since they have been selling. If you know what a saxx quest 2.0 is like don't buy but if you don't know any better have at it.
Great moisture wicking
I bought these for a week-long backpack trip a year ago. They worked great. I was used to cotton underwear and was interested in trying something with moisture-wicking. I'm glad I did, and I don't think I'll go back. They help keep the undercarriage dry which has helped reduce jock itch issues. The ballpark feels nice, too. I've been wearing these about once a week for a year now, and they are starting to lose their shape. They are riding up more, so I find myself pulling them down on a regular basis. I don't remember having to do this when they were new. The ballpark is also not providing the same level of support it once did.
Airy, punny, and supportive
Well, my wife laughed for quite a long time when I showed her these - but it was I who had the last laugh. For those that can't tell from the first thumbnail you see of these, there are some very silly looking interior mesh flaps that help, well, support things down there. It was hard to take these "ball park" flaps seriously, but, after a few workouts and some serious cross-country travel, I'm going to have a hard time not using these as much as possible. They fit nice and snug, breathe very nicely, and don't snag on leg hairs like some of the other micro-mesh type underwears I've tried out. The designs offered are also as plain or as fun as you'd like.
The Do Everything Underwear
This product is so lightweight and excels in moisture wicking. This is my go to for travel, exercise and every day life. The mesh fabric pulls and pushes moisture like I never thought fabric could. The 'ballpark' pouch gives excellent support, separation and really works for comfort and no chaffing ever! These are the best underwear money can buy, every man should experience these.
