OK But Not Great
The shows were on closeout sale when i ordered them. I was looking for a pair to have for summer wear. As they say, you get what you pay for. Ordering online makes one unable to try the shoes on. I ordered them since I could return to the local REI store. At their original price, trying them on in a store, I would not have purchased. They just aren't that comfortable. I noted some lower back stiffness after wearing them. Also, for a long walk some minor knee pain which I don't get from my other shoes. Decided to keep them anyhow. Not that much money and hopefully they get more comfortable with time.
the most comfortable hiking shoe ever...
I have had problems with my feet and for years I could not find shoes to wear wth my suits for work>> I always got a lot of grief about wearing athletic shoes, even when others followed suit and started wearing running or hiking shoe with their suits. Then along came a pair of Tellurides. I got them new at an Res garage sale last month for $13.70, yes your read this right, $13.70, because one of the eyelets was broken. A four dollar fix at my local shoe repair store. Now they are my go to waking and dress shoes. When your walk in these you can actually feel the air sole in the heel gently compress and cradle your foot with each step. And the laces give it a snug fit without feeling like the shoe has to be tightened to the max. I wear them now every day to work. No more sneakers for me. Love 'em. Thanks REI.
Good walking shoe
I bought these shoes to replace a worn-out pair of (very) good Reeboks I had had for a number of years. After several long walks, I find these shoes to fit well and to be very comfortable. Another good Merrell product in my experience.
Merrill They are broken The leather is very soft
The best part of the shoe is the tread well-made souls the leather is soft feels like I've already been wore in they aren't Stiff . The only thing I wish the leases were better look like Converse sneakers lasses but colored I was able to get these for half price great value .
I love the shoe, but....
I love the shoe, but stitching and seams have torn with very little use. Use to play golf in only (and not that often), and found some issues with seams splitting. I love Merrell, but this one missed the mark. I will bring to store and ask for consideration of a refund.
Needed a comfortable and waterproof for hard work
It may make better since to say I'm in retail and on my feet 10 + hours per week. But from unloading trucks or pushing carts or stocking shelves it's a fantastic aid to halo anyone with lower back or foot pain. Very thank ful to have Merrell and REI
Too Tight
These were too tight across my toes. And they didn't look in good in person as they did online. Unfortunately, will be returning them.
Comfortable from the box
No break in time needed. Light weight sturdy shoe great for park trails wet grass kind of a pain getting water into through socks
