When fitting, be sure to allow a full thumb’s width in front of your toes. If your feet are used to cramped toe boxes, Altra shoes may feel a little big at first. Give your toes some time to get used to the newfound wiggle room.

Standard Fit: The most common fit from Altra is right in the middle of Original and Slim.

Box toe provides wiggle room for toes, low heel takes the pressure off forefoot (I have a bunion on my big toe), and mesh fabric lets feet breathe. I added an arch insert and a metatarsal pad for my Morton's neuroma condition and these shoes are a sweetheart to my feet! Highly recommend!

For the first time in my life I have a shoe that fits!!! I work at Costco, walking and running on concrete the entire day. My feet hurt by the end of the day no matter what shoe I wear or how much I pay for it until I found this brand. Thank you Altra! When I first put them on to wear around the house, checking on the fit I thought oh no these aren't going to work but astoundingly they seem to mold to my feet, my toes have room! I am now the proud owner of 2 pairs of Altra and I telling everyone I work with about them. Healthy happy feet all day!

Comfortable right out of the box. I recommend these shoes for bunion/ bunionette sufferers. It accommodates the bumps and bony prominences of my feet. Using many many different brands from MBT, Dansko, Mephisto, Hoka, Newton, etc.. but this one I always go to when I am walking or running. Great product!!!
