Smells BAD

I've used a lot of "running" t-shirts, both synthetic and merino wool. This shirt smells the worst after each run, and I usually don't smell bad after a workout... So that says a lot to me :-) Synthetic shirts always start smelling a bit if you don't wash them right away, no matter what "silver ion hocus pocus" technique they use, but this one smells almost instantly. I have to say the fit is okay, although a tiny bit longer could be possible. Wicking is excellent and the shirt is dry in no time! However, I would really love for Arc'teryx to produce a line of merino running shirts. Can't believe they don't have them already since they are loved by so many people, including me. Anyway,I would not recommend this shirt for workout purposes and am not buying another one.

No, I do not recommend this product

Excellent undershirt or primary layer

I bought these shirts to wear as an undershirt for travel. When they arrived I was shocked at how lightweight they were. After putting them on and wearing them both as an undershirt and basic t-shirt I was very pleased. Very lightweight, good athletic fit and managed odor and moisture extremely well. I am a big fan of the Phase series and have several other garments in the line. This and the Phase SV LS Zip Neck are solid standouts!

It fits well

I'm really impressed by this product. It's really soft and very lightweight. Great for summer outdoor activities. Anyways, I've no clear idea how to wash these products, while I've always used Nikwax base wash for base-layers, but Arc'teryx recommends to keep away from fabrics softeners (like Nikwax is)

Great all round base layer

Finally a breathable base layer that actually works as promised! Great fabric and cut, comfortable top. I use mine for running, climbing, expeds, cycling the works... The shirt fits comfortably and doesn't have the odour issues of many synthetics! I have three now, a go to base layer!

Very light, comfortable. Good as base layer or as summer t-shirt.

It's astoundingly light, feels great on the skin, breathes very well, resists body odour. It fits really well and the horizontal line pattern is a nice aesthetic touch.
