Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.

CHEST: Place the tape measure under your arms at the fullest part of your chest, wrap around your body until your fingers meet and mark the measurement.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline—right above your hips. Be careful not to squeeze too tight to allow a little give.

HIPS: With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips to ensure you'll have enough room to move comfortably.

TALL sizes: All tall sizes are 2 inches longer than regular sizes.

Form-fitting

XL was uncomfortably tight. I wear 36 to 38 waist. The construction is very nice, I wished it fit, and I wished I had a tight bod, but alas, I don't. I want a base layer to feel invisible. This was like wearing a superhero costume. With the right body, this would be awesome. Took it back.

Works great for skiing

I purchased the 3.0 top and bottoms for a ski trip. They kept me very warm, and were comfortable. My issue is that after one wash& dry with the gentle cycle, the seams on the sleeves have become fuzzy. I'm not sure how much longer they'll last, and I may end up returning them.

Nice heavier weight, but slightly tight

its a nice colder weather layer, but I bought a XL thinking it would be looser for me, since I wear L and the layer is still slightly tighter than a regular L. I wore this once on a windy day and the wind make it feel cooler yet the layer made me feel warmer, with a windproof layer I would have been toasty. It works well, in other words for those late mrnings when it starts to heat up to take off and layer and still be fine with this crew

Great product, get one size larger

Definitely get one size up. I am a Large normally and bought an XL per the recommendations in the reviews. It fits well. It is snug but not compression style. I have used it camping and really enjoyed it. It was very breathable and very soft and comfortable on the interior while keeping me warm. It works well with outer-layers or just walking around.

Toasty Warm

This is hands down the best base layer I own. Not only did it keep me warm in a light tent and flimsy sleeping bag as I was sleeping in the Cascades, but it fits well and feels like you're being hugged to sleep by a flock of lambs.

Size is off as expected. Performance is unkownn

I am generally not an XL. This past season I purchased the 3.0 bottoms, and they fit great going a full size up to XL. So, when buying the top recently I also sized-up based on reviews. I am 5-11, 170#, athletic fit. Generally a large top, and 33"/31" length bottom. Sizing-up this top works. It's long, but at least the chest fits and I can remove it without much difficulty.

If you're looking for warm...this is it!

The Under Armour Base 3.0 and other Base gear is my go to for instant warmth. For me nothing else compares. As soon as you put this on you can feel the warmth of your body heat doing what it's suppose to, get you warm. Use it as a base layer or as I do, a thermal. Just love the Base gear.

Size matches the chart

A lot of other reviewers are talking about the size. According to the chart for this product, I needed a large, so that's what I ordered and it fits fine. Since it's a 3.0, I was afraid I would get too warm in it, but I don't.

Gotta be honest with this

Okay... you are getting a great deal with this shirt! There are other shirts that are higher quality and feel better but charge more than twice as much as this product delivering way less. This shirt here is warmer and better.
