Great liner
I got this after learning about how thin merino will is meant to be used as a liner to support wicking and "breathing" of whichever area. This liner worked awesome. Aided in warmth enough to tell a difference during the hours I spent in the unexpected winter wonderland. I don't like wearing my beanie without this liner now. Without the liner I could feel heavy wind penetrate the top of my beanie. This added enough of a layer to reduce that. Best purchase besides the neck gator I don't live without.
Warm, compact, soft
Great hat. Love how small it can pack up - makes it great for backpacking. It's wool, so it will dry quickly and resist smells. Actually lost my first one and reordered the next day - that's how good this beanie is.
Great for cool runs
Use it for my morning runs when it's cold outside. Just enough to keep the ears warm without being hot once I get going. Replaces a Smartwool trainer that went missing.
Takes the chill away
Fits under my balaclava, under my bicycle helmet. Doesn't itch and keeps my skull warm. I ride 30 miles a day, round trip, year round, Vancouver to Portland. One of my best purchases.
Ugh, no longer available???
This is a great lightweight cap. I love it when it's a little cold or you have a hood up. I heat up very easily, so I like a lightweight beanie and this one is spot-on.
