Fantastic

I used these this year as my outer layer for skiing. My kids are on a race team and as such I help with the admin. I recently I had to help tear down the snow fence for one of the courses. This had me on my knees for over a hour rolling snow fence up a hill. It was +2c out and damp. No moisture got through the pants. My legs stayed dry as a bone. The gore tex is legit and works 100%. I finished a run today in a slush bowl and again, dry as a bone. Just remember though these are a layer and have no insulation. But they do keep wind and moisture out 100%.

Interesting Cut...

The fit of these pants is...interesting... The waist and length are true to size, but the "bib" feels small and the leg openings are not flared, at all, making them super tight over my ski boots. There is zero stretch in the waist or in the "bib", which means I have to cut back on those Krispy Kremes... I've a 32" waist and a 40" chest, and with a base layer and a mid layer under the bib, my size medium pants means the third layer for cold days would have to go outside the bib.

Super disappointed, horrible customer service

Side zipper completely failed on an expedition, waited for them to come back into stock and made warranty request. After 4+ weeks and a being consistently ignored by customer service, I have a newly formed opinion on outdoor research. They seem to have gone downhill significantly. By the time customer service bothered to respond they were outta stock again and I got a sorry about your luck email.

Too Small for Snowboarding.

I bought this for snowboarding, & I normally wear a small. The small for this seems to be too tight just about everywhere. The Bib part is snugg (snow will def not get in). Seems to be slim fitting. I do not think it will fit over my snowboarding boots which have a 2 BOA system. I think this might be more for mountaineering where boots are a bit slimmer.

Also work for women

Not to worry gentlemen, they aren't ladies pants, but they do fit me pretty well. I'm 5' 8" and the mediums are great. The smalls are do-able but snug for my skier thighs. They are more durable than my previous bibs by Patagonia and I expect them to last more than one season of backcountry work, thank goodness!

Nice Gortex Pants, Fits small

These are really nice pants but unfortunately they fit too small so I have not been able to use them. They are well constructed and very high quality, I would recommend going up a size though.

best bibs on the market

These bibs are a slim fit, so go up a size. I'm 6ft, thin build, the LG fits me perfectly. enough room for a layering. Gore-tex will keep you dry all day long.
