Great full feature hangboard

I've used this hang board in my garage, while recovering from a foot injury, almost 2 months now. Coming from climbing 11s in the gym, the variety of holds on it is keeping me busy. One feature I really like is the down turned pinches, providing plenty of challenge. The ability to space the board by your shoulder width is slick too. I’ve been using petzl pulleys and a counter weight to fine tune sets, In combination with routines from the book Self Coached Climber and the Boulder Trainer app, I’m able to get good workouts in, resembling the feelings after an actual climbing session.

Best Hangboard out there

A little more involved to mount than most boards, but once set up, it's the best system out there. I mounted mine to a pull up bar with structural pipe fittings on a piece of 12x2 and it's been a great set up. I think it has the best progression of holds for a wide range of climbers out of any hangboard on the market. Definitely recommend the Rock Prodigy Training Manual to go with it.

Top o' the Line Dangleboard

The perfect hangboard methinks. The texture is ideal right out of the box (there actually is no box; this is an expression). Excellent variety of holds. The only thing I'm not a big fan of are the pinches. I'd rather just use pinch blocks. But no matter; top of the pinch provides a second good jug for warming up. There's a great app you can use with it: it's just called "Hangboard"; icon is a red/yellow fist on a yellow star with red background. Excellent timer and records sessions, holds, weight taken off/added. That you can separate it to liking is nice, unlike other boards. If you can test it out at your local gym (some day we'll have gyms again), you can get a better sense of the width apart you want.Barring that, see recommendation and err on the side of average separation. I actually went closer to minimum recommendation due to experience with it, which is muy bueno for me. Only thing to consider with this one is that it ain't cheap. Which you already know. Keep in mind too the possible added cost of plywood, screws, carabiners, and if you want to set up a pulley system (definitely recommended). It does add up, but those things you'll need with another dangleboard, so same difference. Mounting this wasn't the easiest; that it is in two halves didn't really make it harder though, as some claim. Since we don't have climbing gyms, you either need this or another board, right? Just get one already! And put phat muscles on those wussie digits!

Best hangboard option

Great board. I have 5 hangboards in my house and this is the only one I really use. It's pretty versatile for all experience levels as well as training needs. Highly recommend.
