Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too much of a Gel thing I have used these 3 times now. Two times for shorter 20 mile rides and one 60 mile ride. All three times my hands have gone numb wearing them. I thought it was just me, but my cycling buddy said she was having the numb problem as well before I had even mentioned it to her. I honestly think it's just too much padding for me. I do love the quality of the product, and the easy on off. I should also mention that on my 60 mile ride my hands did get sunburned slightly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from padding is oddly placed for me While these gloves look great, they are just okay in performance. They were a bit slippery on the inside until I washed and dried them, and maybe it's just me, but the placement of the gel padding seems a bit off. It hits me directly over or close to the nerves that it's supposed to protect from pressure. That said, it's not that big of a deal as I still routinely use them for 75+ mile rides. One last kind of funny thing is the tan you'll develop. Sun gets through the tight mesh of the back of the hand but not through the nose-wiping thumb piece leaving a nice diagonal stripe across your hand. I would not buy them again, but they may work for a more casual rider who doesn't do long distances.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from gel in wrong places? I bought these gloves to replace my previous P.I. gloves which were great. I've used these for about 6 rides now, and even on short (20 mile) rides, my hands and fingers have been going numb. I plan to return these gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps my hands soft! I found these gloves in the clearance sections when I was looking for biking gear. I had been thinking of buying a pair of biking gloves for some time, so this was the perfect time to pick some up. I like the gloves, but there are a few things that keep me from giving them a perfect rating. The sizing of the gloves were a bit off. When I tried them on in the store, I thought that the mediums were a bit tight. The sales person suggested that I get the large. While I do think they fit better than the medium would have, I still feel like there is extra fabric moving around when I wear them. I also think the gloves are a bit difficult to remove, even with the pull tab on one of the fingers. Overall, I am happy with the purchase as they keep my hands from getting rough on the bike handles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size runs small I'm going to have to return these gloves because they fit small. I bought medium, as I have with other gloves, and they are too small. I can't comment on how they function otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a last-minute purchase paid off! I bought these gloves as a last minute purchase for my inaugural RAGBRAI ride this year and was so pleased I did! The gel padding is carefully positioned, the gloves were comfortable throughout use, and the "easy-off" tabs made these a cinch to pull off at rest stops and at the end of the ride. I don't think my hands would have thanked me if I hadn't made this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! My girlfriend had a pair of Louis Garneau gloves and they sucked so she needed a new pair and I found these for her. They are very comfortable, have good padding, they breathe well and are fairly easy to take off, and they were on sale!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable The padding on these gloves is just right and the fit is great. I plan to buy another pair.
