This is a great light set! Several reviews mention that after a while the front light stops working, it charges and shows the blue “charged” light but then won’t turn on with just the red “empty” light flashing. A quick look at the manufacturer’s website tells you this is because the light is in lock mode and the button needs to be pressed for 8-10 seconds to unlock it. This has happened to me several times and unlocking it fixes it each time. It happens because you have to press the button for 3-5 to turn it off, but if you hold a little longer it goes into lock mode.

Do not last very long

I bought these lights four months ago. Initially I was very happy with them—they were both very bright and the battery seemed to last long. The only issue at the moment was that the silicone straps used to attach them to the bike were on the short side. A few weeks ago I lost the back light while right—I never noticed it detached from the base. It might have been my fault, I cannot be certain about this. This week the front light stopped turning on, even though it is fully charged. I do not recommend this product.

the strap broke after about 15 uses

Very disappointed. I don’t need these much since I typically ride gravel, but I used them about 10 times and the strap for the rear light broke. Absolutely worthless now.

I'd look for something else.

First the taillight. As others have said it falls off. Rode twice before it was lost. Liked that it was bright, easy to use, easy to cycle through the different blinking patterns, USB-C. Obviously I wouldn't know about durability, but given that the other reviews were right about it falling off it probably is not durable as well as some others have noted. Second, the headlamp. It works but I don't really like it for a few reasons. First I find it difficult to change the type of beam to flashing. Seems to always want to go to solid when turned on and can take many attempts to get it to switch to blinking. In general the light for me is not to see things, it is to be seen. Their are better flash patterns to be seen than a simple blinking light, ones that are more disruptive and likely to get a drivers attention. It is difficult to actually press on especially with gloves on and get it to move through the light options. Lastly it is micro USB as opposed to USB-C so another cord is out. I tossed my original packing and lost the tail light so returning is not an option but I've ordered a Lezyne brand of light. That's my experience.

Great product, works as expected

Bought two pairs for our son’s bikes. We had an older version of these lights for our other kids bike and this rear light is much better. Head light does a great job at lighting up although we had trouble turning it on for the first time. Apparently you have to get it out of the locking program by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds before it actually turns on. My hubs initially thought it was nonfunctional and we were going to return for another one but we figured it out. Read light is very bright and almost blinding to look at even during daylight. It’s a great thing bc cars can see you from far way. The front light is the same as our old version from 4 years ago. One thing is they use two different charging cords to power up which is a little annoying, but they are both included. usb to micro usb and usb to usb C.

Great rear light, terrible front light

The rear light works great, but I'm also one of the people whose front light entirely stopped working after a couple of years of ownership. Only managed to use it twice. It lights up blue when charging but doesn't actually turn on when it's done charging, regardless of how long I let it charge. Really disappointing.

Bad front light

Front light doesn't work. Charged it until button kight turned blue, but when you unplug it and try to turn it on, the red low battery light just flashes. Never even got to use it once.

Bright when it works

After 4-5 uses and a couple of charging cycles, the front light started showing red when turned on as if the battery was dead. When charged, red light would blink until solid blue fully charged indicator would come on. Then immediately after charging when I tried to power the light on it would show a red light. I believe that this is a recurring problem with this brands battery connections. Disappointed that a year and month after my purchase it has failed on me.

The USB charging connector is different for the front light than for the rear light.
