Sturdy and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oru paddle is very sturdy and good quality material. It breaks down into four pieces so it is more compact and easier to store.

Paddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paddle works ok, but tends to move around a bit. Not my favorite and I’ll be buying a different one, but will keep for a backup.

insufficient seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For people with long torsos the puny and flimsy seat is useless. I've been out twice for a couple hours and came back each time with my back wrecked. The seat folds in half backward like a cheap suit. It needs to be taller and include some horizontal ribs to be of any use.

New found Independence !!

I love LOVE my new Lake Kayak!! I could not be more thrilled with being able to drive to the lake at 4:30 after work and go relax on the water. It is a new found freedom for me. I’m older and can not lift the original type kayak on the roof of my SUV. I have gone several times by myself on the lake and feel absolutely fantastic about the experience. It is easy to set up and tear down. I just throw it in the back of my car and I do make sure that I rinse it when I get home. Do not take it over rocks. I will say I have broke the adjustable seat already. I don’t know what happened with that when I undid it it was broke. So be very careful with that. But I feel safe and I have gone where I have hit a few waves. And it has not flipped my kayak like some reviews said it would do. I absolutely would suggest this to any person who wants to do this alone. I feel safe and empowered. I couldn’t be more thrilled❤️

Propulsion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the paddle & backpack free with my kayak order. It’s a mid-weight paddle. A great starter item, until you figure out your specific needs. It gets you where you need to go without too much effort. Like the stiffness of the blades. It’s great that it breaks down into 4 pieces. It comes apart easily. The mesh case is a nice touch. Like that it sports the Oru colors. I would recommend this product.

Assembly was fun and easy!

I took my new Oru Inlet Lake onto my pool after assembly just to test it out. Putting it together was fun and exciting for me and I think I’ll get better and better at it the more I practice! I cannot wait to get this thing out on the lakes nearby! I’m thrilled!
