Lornet Turnbull was a Seattle-based freelance writer who frequently wrote about the Pacific Northwest for The Washington Post. She was also an associate editor for YES! Magazine. She grew up exploring the beaches in the British Virgin Islands and rediscovered that passion for the outdoors in the mountains across the Pacific Northwest. REI Co-op Member since 2010.
