Tom Bugert (he/him) is the State & Local Government Relations Manager for the co-op. In this role he works with REI employees and members, community leaders, nonprofits, and elected officials to support robust funding and strong policies for parks, trails, outdoor spaces, climate action, and outdoor equity. When he’s not advocating for bold policies for future generations, Tom can be found chasing his toddler through the parks, trails and ski slopes of Washington state.
