Loving the outdoors means protecting the outdoors.

In 2014, REI invested $4.7 million to protect outdoor places, increase access and help people connect with activities they love. Most of that money goes to local organizations identified through a unique hyper-local approach driven by local stores who form strong partnerships with impactful not-for-profits. REI partners with regional and national organizations who share our mission and values and also provides grants to organizations inspiring the next generation of outdoor leaders.
