About our speaker: Grow Pittsburgh brings a team of experienced educators and growers dedicated to making food growing skills accessible and empowering for everyone. They grow skills, food access, and community resilience across Allegheny County. Their work spans school garden programs, teacher training, youth and adult workforce development, and year round workshops that help people learn to grow food sustainably. They also operate urban farm sites that supply affordable, sustainably grown fruits and veggies to local neighborhoods and support the creation of gardens in schools, early childhood centers, and communities where fresh food is limited.
