Overview
Every adventure starts with an idea. Maybe it’s a trail you’ve always wanted to hike, a first backpacking trip, a solo adventure, or an outdoor dream that feels wildly out of reach. There’s the excitement, the nerves, the uncertainty—and the moment you decide to take that very first step. But adventure isn’t just about where you go or what you do—it’s about who you become along the way. Join Christine Reed, Tami Asars, Alison Monda, and Jessica DeAngelo for an evening of stories about taking chances, pushing boundaries, and discovering what you’re capable of. Four remarkable women. Four different paths. One evening that might change how you see your own possibilities. Come hear the stories behind their accomplishments, discover what adventure has taught them, and leave knowing, it’s possible for you too. About our speakers: Christine went from discovering long-distance hiking to becoming a rugged outdoorswoman and author of Alone in Wonderland. Tami completed the 8,000-mile Triple Crown of hiking and wrote six guidebooks before telling her own story in her memoir, Long Lost. Alison brings a sense of humor to all of her adventures and is as an EMT, search-and-rescue volunteer, as well as the and author of Fearless. Jessica, a TEDx speaker and bestselling author of The Wild Advantage, explores how time in nature can transform the way we think, work, and live.
