Discover inclusive and accessible ways to enjoy camping at this hands-on, conversation-driven workshop designed to welcome everyone into the outdoors. Whether you use adaptive gear yourself, camp with someone who does, or are simply curious about how to make outdoor experiences more accessible, this session offers practical insights you can take anywhere. We’ll explore how to find and choose campgrounds with meaningful accessibility features, set up and use adaptive camping gear with confidence, and recognize the less-obvious barriers that can shape an outdoor experience. Expect real-world guidance, shared problem solving, and an open, welcoming space to learn how camping can be adapted to work for more bodies, abilities, and needs.
