REI Co-op supports disaster recovery efforts in Wisconsin and Washington communities

REI Co-op is supporting recovery efforts in Appleton, Wisconsin and Spokane, Washington following recent natural disasters affecting communities where the co-op has stores, employees, members and customers.

In Wisconsin, REI has made donations to United Way Fox Cities, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation following the EF3 tornado that struck the Fox Valley region on July 27. The funding will support immediate relief efforts and long-term community recovery.

In Washington, REI is contributing to the Spokane County Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Innovia Foundation Eastern Washington Wildfire Fund to support communities impacted by ongoing wildfire activity. The donations will help local organizations meet immediate needs while assisting individuals and families throughout the recovery process.

REI supports communities impacted by natural disasters where our employees, members and customers live and recreate. The co-op works with trusted local nonprofit partners to provide timely assistance and help communities recover when disasters occur.
