Women in the Wilderness: Skills, Confidence & Community with Trailbound Project

This hands-on workshop is designed to help women feel more prepared, capable, and empowered outside. Join a welcoming community of outdoor enthusiasts for an open and practical conversation about topics that are often overlooked but can make a big difference in your comfort and experience on the trail. Together, we'll explore the essentials of trip planning, outdoor safety, risk awareness, nutrition, and the realities of the "3 Ps"—peeing, pooping, and periods in the outdoors. You'll gain practical knowledge, hear real-world insights from experienced outdoor women, and leave with strategies you can put to use on your very next adventure. This workshop offers a supportive space to ask questions, share experiences, and build confidence for wherever the trail leads next. TrailBound Project is a New Jersey-based hiking and backpacking school dedicated to filling the woods with capable people through hands-on outdoor education. Their experienced instructors lead hiking courses, backpacking trips, wilderness skills training, and adventure travel experiences designed to help participants build confidence, self-sufficiency, and community in the outdoors.
