Run Juneteenth Winter Trail Run Series

The Winter Trail Series is a rotating set of trail-running meetups held throughout the DC–Maryland–Virginia region. Each week features a different local trail, offering a mix of terrain, elevation, and mileage options to keep runners challenged and engaged. This year, REI is partnering with Run Juneteenth to offer trail-shoe demos from several top brands, giving participants the chance to test gear directly on the trails. Trail running takes you off the pavement and into nature, moving across dirt paths, forests, fields, and technical surfaces like rocks, roots, and mud. It builds strength, balance, and focus while encouraging exploration and connection with the outdoors. Join us!
