Unity Run Community 5K with Latinos Run, Black Men Run, and Black Girls RUN!

Join an energizing event that brings the Durham running community together, step for step. The Unity Run is a welcoming 5K hosted by Latinos Run Raleigh-Durham in collaboration with Black Men Run and Black Girls RUN!, designed for runners and walkers of every pace and experience level. We’ll kick things off with a quick welcome and route overview before heading out on a local loop that showcases the easygoing charm of Durham’s neighborhoods and greenways, where shaded stretches, smooth paths, and a supportive community vibe set the tone for a great run. Take the opportunity to test-drive Brooks footwear during the run and feel the difference on the road, then return to REI for light refreshments, conversation, and connection. This is more than a run; it is a chance to meet fellow runners, learn about local clubs, and discover how REI can support your next goal, whether that’s your first 5K or your next PR. Come as you are, bring a friend, and move together in a space built on encouragement, inclusion, and the shared joy of getting outside. Latinos Run Raleigh-Durham is a community-driven organization dedicated to making running more accessible and inclusive through weekly runs, partnerships, and local events that foster connection and confidence in the outdoors. Hosted alongside Black Men Run and Black Girls RUN!, they bring a collective commitment to welcoming all people into a supportive, movement-focused community.
