Building Georgia's Outdoor Recreation Movement with Trust for Public Land
Join Trust for Public Land for a conversation about the future of outdoor recreation and public lands in Georgia! In celebration of National Public Lands Day, this presentation will explore efforts to increase investment in outdoor recreation across the state and the growing movement to establish an official Georgia Office of Outdoor Recreation.
Participants will also learn about the Chattahoochee RiverLands initiative, an ambitious vision to create a connected network of parks, trails, and water access points along 100 miles of the Chattahoochee River, stretching from Buford Dam to Chattahoochee Bend State Park. Discover how partnerships between communities, organizations, and outdoor advocates are helping expand access to recreation while protecting natural spaces for future generations.
Whether you're passionate about public lands, outdoor access, conservation, or community development, this event offers an opportunity to learn about projects shaping the future of recreation in Georgia and ways to get involved.
