Florida is home to an incredible diversity of reptiles, from iconic American alligators to gopher tortoises and a variety of snakes. Join us for a fascinating presentation that explores these unique species, their roles in Florida’s ecosystems, and how we can all be better stewards of their habitats. Learn how to safely coexist with reptiles while enjoying the outdoors and gain insights into their behaviors and conservation needs. This session will be led by a ranger from Florida State Parks, a passionate advocate for our local wildlife and conservation. With firsthand experience studying and protecting reptiles, and educating visitors, they bring valuable insights into how we can all help care for our scaly neighbors.
