Explore the vision for the Salmonberry Trail, a planned 82-mile multi-use route connecting Oregon’s Willamette Valley with the Oregon Coast. Representatives from the Salmonberry Trail Alliance will share the trail’s history, proposed route, current development efforts and potential benefits for recreation, conservation and nearby communities. Learn about the opportunities and challenges involved in transforming a historic rail corridor into a destination for hiking, cycling, education and nature-based recreation. The presentation will conclude with audience questions and ways to support or participate in the project.
