Restore the Reef: Hands-On Oyster Habitat Workshop
Oysters do more than sit on a half shell—they’re powerhouse ecosystem engineers that filter water, prevent erosion, and create vital marine habitats. But their populations are in trouble, and coastal communities are stepping up to help.
Join us in-store for a hands-on experience where you’ll learn about the importance of oyster reef restoration and how simple, community-driven efforts are making a big impact. You’ll get the chance to roll up your sleeves and create oyster rag pots—a practical, eco-friendly tool used to rebuild oyster habitats. Come dressed to get a little messy and leave inspired to protect your local waters. This is a fun and meaningful way to learn, connect, and contribute.
