Join us for an immersive film screening of The North. Two former best friends return to the wild terrain of Scotland in search of connection, clarity, and a hard-earned sense of stillness. Their 600 kilometer trek weaves through the rugged West Highland Way—an iconic route known for sweeping glens, lochs wrapped in mist, and mountains that feel ancient and alive—before pushing deeper into the remote and untamed Cape Wrath Trail, one of the most challenging long-distance routes in the world. Over 30 days in the Highlands, their journey becomes more than a test of endurance; it becomes a reckoning with the pressures of modern life, the grit required to stay present, and the fragile, powerful bonds that shape us. This is a story about moving forward, slowing down, and rediscovering what truly matters. About our speaker: Arnold Janssen, co-founder of Tuesday Studios, brings a filmmaker’s eye for human connection and a storyteller’s instinct for the wild places that reveal it.
