Neighborhood Bike Works Used Bike Drive

Got a bike that’s been sitting unused, waiting for its next adventure? Bring it to REI and help put more kids in the saddle. We’re teaming up with our nonprofit partner Neighborhood Bike Works to collect used bikes and parts that will be repaired, rebuilt, and put back into motion for youth across the region. Your donation helps open doors to cycling, hands-on mechanical skills, and confidence-building experiences that last far beyond the ride. Drop off bikes with 20-inch wheels or larger at the bike shop during the event window. Road, mountain, hybrid, and BMX bikes are all welcome, whether they’re ready to roll or need some love. Even bikes with damaged frames can make a difference through reusable parts. Neighborhood Bike Works mechanics and staff will be on-site to accept donations and share how your bike fuels education, recreation, leadership, and career pathways for young riders. Neighborhood Bike Works staff and volunteer mechanics will be on hand to share their mission and impact. Based in Philadelphia, NBW empowers youth and strengthens communities through equitable access to bicycling, bike repair, and hands-on education.
