Notes
Whether your adventure is a two-mile nature walk, a day hike, or a week-long backpacking trip, every outdoor experience is shaped by the choices we make. Those choices can help protect the natural places we love—or contribute to their gradual degradation. This interactive presentation uses the seven Leave No Trace Principles as a guide to explore how simple, thoughtful choices help protect trails, wildlife, water, and the experiences of other visitors. Rather than focusing on rules, we'll explore why these principles matter and how they apply to both frontcountry parks and backcountry wilderness. Through engaging stories, photographs, and real-world examples, participants will discover practical ways to reduce their impact and help protect the places they love for future generations.
