We’ll cover trail etiquette and how to share outdoor spaces responsibly with other hikers and wildlife, gear essentials like leashes, harnesses, water solutions, and paw protection for different terrains, and health and safety tips including preparing your dog for the trail, recognizing signs of fatigue or overheating, and first-aid basics. You’ll also learn best practices for Leave No Trace with pets to minimize impact while adventuring together. Whether you’re planning a short local hike or a backcountry trek, this session will give you practical tips to ensure your dog stays happy and healthy outdoors.
