Join us for an engaging session with the Florida Paddling Trails Association (FPTA) and learn how to explore Florida’s incredible network of water trails with confidence. Whether you’re new to paddling or a long‑time kayaker, this event will help you discover tools, resources, and safety tips to make the most of your time on the water. You’ll get an introduction to who FPTA is and the stewardship work they do, learn how to use online planning tools to find and navigate Florida’s many paddling routes, and get up‑to‑date information on PFD fit and safety. Come with your questions and leave inspired for your next paddling adventure. About our presenting partner: The Florida Paddling Trails Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2007 under the guidance of the Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Greenways and Trails. FPTA serves as steward of the 1,515‑mile Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail and now supports the protection and enjoyment of all paddling trails throughout the state.
