Walkin' Through the Eastern Shore at Harriet Tubman Museum and Blackwater Refuge

Join a ranger-led tour of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park Visitor Center and Museum, followed by a scenic 2-3 mile walk on the Blackwater Refuge Trail, which features easy to moderate terrain. Carpooling is strongly recommended, though personal vehicles are also an option. Be sure to dress in layers to accommodate fall weather and check the forecast before heading out. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. While the Visitor Center and its immediate surroundings are wheelchair accessible, trail accessibility may vary. Help preserve the park by following Leave No Trace principles and taking all items with you when you leave. Please note that pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.
