What to expect: Trail Cleanup Help us care for Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park alongside fellow outdoor lovers. Participants will preserve earthworks—classified by the park as artifacts—ensuring they remain accessible for future visitors. This event is brought to life in partnership with Friends of Kennesaw Mountain, a local organization helping protect and maintain our trails in collaborate with the National Park Service and local community to advance conservation, education, and visitor experiences at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Make sure to bring closed toe shoes, long pants, and work gloves if you have them! As a thank you for giving back, all stewards will receive an exclusive Better Trails Club hat while supplies last! Details o Time: 9am to Noon o Location : Visitor Center KMNBP. 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr Kennesaw, GA 30152 o Parking Details: We will park in the field by the Visitor Center. Free parking passes will be provided to those that participate. We will meet in the picnic area next to the field.
