Travis Audubon Society Presents: Intro to Birding Series

Ready to discover the birds all around you? Join the Travis Audubon Society for a four-part in-person classroom series designed for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of birding. Whether you're completely new to birdwatching or looking to build your identification skills, this course will provide the tools and knowledge to help you get started. Over four engaging sessions, participants will learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, use field guides and binoculars, understand bird migration and conservation, and become familiar with many of the bird species found in Central Texas. No prior birding experience is necessary. This welcoming and informative series is a great way to build confidence, connect with fellow nature enthusiasts, and start a lifelong appreciation for birds and the natural world!
