Overview

  • Group size20 people

Dive into the world of adapted off-road cycling and discover why “accessible” doesn't mean easy. Get an up‑close look at an adapted off-road cycle, engage with its clever mechanics and participate in a demonstration to see how this equipment opens the outdoors in new ways for different riders. You’ll learn what actually makes a trail accessible, why these trails deliver some of the most rewarding challenges, and how thoughtful design impacts every rider’s experience. The session is led by Wes Hall, CEO and cofounder of North Carolina Adapted Sports and an adapted athlete since 1986. You’ll also hear how you can get involved with local programs supported by REI Fund partner NC Adapted Sports.
