Join Capt. Chris Crolley, founder of the Coastal Expeditions Foundation, for an inspiring conversation about protecting the Lowcountry’s living coast. Discover how the Foundation safeguards nesting sea turtles and seabirds while expanding outdoor education opportunities for kids. Chris will share stories from the field, highlight the challenges facing these fragile ecosystems, and show you how you can make a difference. Learn about upcoming volunteer projects that range from beach and forest clean-ups to trail maintenance and historic site restoration on Bulls Island. You’ll also hear about efforts to protect loggerhead sea turtle nests and support seabird and shorebird stewardship. This is your chance to connect with conservation work that matters and find meaningful ways to give back to the places you love!
