Beloved by locals and admired by adventurers nationwide, Golden Gate National Recreation Area boasts some of the Bay Area's most famous wild trails and ocean vistas. On this 5-mile hike we'll enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Tamalpais, hidden coves, and the rugged coast of the Marin Headlands. Along the way, we'll share some hiking tips and offer insight into the region's history and ecosystem. This hike is suited for beginner to intermediate hikers, as you'll need to feel comfortable walking on variable and exposed terrain with moderate elevation gain of about 1000 feet.
