Wilderness Survival: Winter Skills

Join us for a wilderness self-reliance class that could save your life. During this class you will learn practical tips and strategies that every outdoor traveler should know including winter emergency priorities, how to make an emergency shelter, and how to make your own emergency kit with all the essentials. You will also participate in interactive scenarios to practice and hone your skills. This class is designed for anyone who spends time outdoors during the winter.

  • Group First Aid Kit - Contents include wound care items and over the counter medications for minor injuries and illnesses
  • Headlamp/Flashlight
  • Water Filter
  • The 10 Essentials - The 10 essentials are navigation tools, a headlamp, sun protection, first aid kit, knife, fire, shelter, extra food, extra water, and extra clothes.
