Join us for an engaging introduction to the Camino de Santiago, the iconic 500-mile pilgrimage route stretching from France to the western coast of Spain. This session will explore the rich history, diverse landscapes, and transformative experience of walking the Camino, shared by experiences trekkers! Whether you’re just discovering the Camino or actively planning your journey, this presentation will equip you with the essentials to get started. Learn about training, packing strategies, gear recommendations, and practical tips for the trail. There will be plenty of time for questions, so come curious and ready to be inspired!

Bill Artz, serves on the board of American Pilgrims on the Camino. American Pilgrims is a not for profit organization whose mission is to foster the enduring tradition of the Camino de Santiago through supporting its infrastructure, by gathering pilgrims together and encouraging pilgrims. Bill has walked 4 Caminos, (Frances, Ingles, Madrid and the Portuguese Coastal route) and has biked it once (Frances from Roncevalles). Bill is excited to bring this course to the community and help people prepare for their pilgrimage.
