REI Co-op Statement on the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act

REI Co-op was incorrectly listed as a supporter of the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act; we have not endorsed this bill. We support responsible permitting reform that advances clean energy and infrastructure development, but believe it must also respect Tribal sovereignty, protect public lands and consider the communities most affected. We urge Congress to address these concerns and work directly with Tribal Nations and other stakeholders to find a durable path forward.
