Election Results at REI Bellingham and Maple Grove Stores

Today, employees at our Maple Grove, Minnesota and Bellingham, Washington stores participated in elections supervised by the National Labor Relations Board to determine whether they would be represented by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW). Both voted in favor of UFCW representation. While the results are not final until the elections are certified, REI reiterates its commitment to the right of every eligible employee to vote for or against union representation. 

We look forward to engaging in good faith negotiations with the employees’ elected representative once the results are certified. Together, as always, we’ll continue to focus on serving the outdoor communities in Maple Grove and Bellingham.
