REI Co-op, UFCW, and RWDSU Continue Progress in December Contract Negotiations

REI Co-op and a coalition of union locals from the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) and the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Stores Union (RWDSU) met in Chicago, Illinois, from December 8-12 for the fourth bargaining session since establishing a national bargaining framework earlier this year.

Throughout the session, both parties continued bargaining in good faith on key topics, including economic discussions, and reaffirming their shared commitment to reaching collective bargaining agreements in REI's 11 unionized stores.

The next bargaining session is scheduled for January 26-30, 2025 in Dallas, TX.
