How to redeem your $30 REI Co-op member bonus card

Online at REI.com or REI Outlet

At the Review and Pay step of checkout, click "Apply gift cards and bonus cards" under Payment Options, enter both the number and the PIN from your bonus card or email, then click "Apply card.”

In REI Stores

Give the cashier your bonus card, show a printout of your emailed bonus card, or show it from your phone.

By Phone at 1-800-426-4840

When you call in your order, tell the cashier the number and PIN from your bonus card or email.

Earning your $30 REI Co-op Member Bonus Card

  • Member Bonus Card available 9/2/2025 12:01am – 11/24/2025 11:59pm Pacific Time.
  • Limit 1 Member Bonus Card per new member customer.
  • Offer is available to new members only. Membership is not refundable.
  • Member Bonus Card offer applies to one transaction that includes (i) a new REI membership AND (ii) the pre-tax purchase of eligible merchandise in the amount of $50 or more, after the application of any discounts and the price of the membership.
  • Offer valid at REI stores
  • Member Bonus Card will be given by the cashier for purchases made at REI stores. A digital bonus card will be issued via email if all physical bonus cards have been distributed.
  • A valid email address is required to receive the Digital Member Bonus Card.
  • Member Bonus Card cannot be earned from prior purchases or on purchases at REI.com/used (Re/Supply), REI classes and events, shipping charges, return labels, exchanges, memberships, gift memberships, passes/tickets, shop services, rentals, gift cards, backordered and preordered items, donations to the REI Cooperative Action Fund or on Corporate & Group Sales purchases.
  • REI Employees are not eligible for the Member Bonus Card offer.
  • Member Bonus Card is a single-use promotional card. The card can be used in one qualifying transaction, on or before the expiration date on the card, at REI stores, REI.com, REI Outlet, or 1-800-426-4840.

Redeeming your $30 REI Co-op Member Bonus Card

  • This single-use promotional card is issued by REI Customer Services, Inc.
  • Member Bonus Card received in store will be valid one day after receipt and expire on 12/5/2025 11:59pm Pacific Time.
  • Digital Member Bonus Card can be redeemed on or before the expiration date on the Digital Member Bonus Card (delivered via email).
  • This card can be used in one qualifying transaction made at REI stores, REI.com, REI Outlet, Re/supply (used gear) or 1-800-426-4840.
  • Qualifying transaction could include rentals or shop services but only if the transaction is made at an REI store. Card cannot be used in online rental reservation transactions. Transaction must occur before card expiration, but services need not be completed prior to card expiration.
  • This card will not carry an unused balance; any unused amount will be forfeited at time of redemption (except where required by law).
  • Only one promotional card may be redeemed per transaction.
  • If eligible product is returned for a refund after the card has been redeemed, the value of the redeemed card will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Void if you return item(s) that qualified you for card.
  • This card cannot be used to pay for prior purchases, REI classes and events, shipping charges, return labels, exchanges, memberships, passes/tickets, gift cards, back-ordered items or on Corporate & Group Sales purchases.
  • Not redeemable for cash or credit (except where required by law).
  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen (except where required by law).
  • Not for resale and non-transferable.
  • Use of this card constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (available at REI.com/member-thanks), which may be changed at any time without notice.

  • REI reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Member Bonus Card if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond REI’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper usage of the Member Bonus Card, as determined by REI.

Your Co-op Member Reward is based on eligible net qualified purchases, which exclude REI Outlet items, sale, clearance, discounted items, used gear, gift cards, REI classes and events, shipping charges, service fees (e.g., rentals, labor, shop services), membership fee, REI Cooperative Action Fund donations, postage, event tickets, passes or registrations, government agencies and sales tax.
