Overview
In this fun, hands-on workshop, you will learn to draw and paint your own desert landscape scene using pencils and watercolor paints. The artist will share her tips for how to draw your scene, color match, manipulate paint and water on paper, and how to add texture and details to make your own striking piece of artwork. This is a great workshop to do by yourself or with a friend! No previous experience necessary, this workshop is for both beginners and experienced painters. This workshop is limited to 10 people so there will be plenty of 1-on-1 time with the instructor if you have questions. All materials will be supplied for attendees.
Notes
The workshop is offered by artist and adventure seeker, Stephanie Daniels of Brushes and Boots. Stephanie draws inspiration from time spent in nature whether on hiking adventures in the Sonoran Desert or backpacking in the Sky Islands of Arizona. Stephanie fell in love with the Sonoran Desert when she moved to Tucson in 2017 and loves to inspire others to appreciate the Desert and get outside through her original, botanical artwork and teaching. The cost of the class is $55.
