Overview
- Group size30 people
Running is more than just putting one foot in front of the other—it’s a dynamic, whole-body movement that can be refined for greater efficiency, speed, and enjoyment. In this engaging session, you’ll learn how to improve your running form from the ground up. Janet will guide you through practical techniques to enhance body alignment, posture, and movement patterns. You’ll explore how elements like arm swing, body lean, and core engagement contribute to fluid, injury-resistant running. Beyond the physical, this session will also touch on how good form supports mental clarity and emotional well-being, helping you tap into the flow state and reconnect with the joy of running outdoors. About our speaker: Janet Runyan is a nationally ranked distance runner and former U.S. 100K National Champion. She placed first at the iconic Leadville Trail 100 and was a member of the bronze medal–winning U.S. Team at the 1998 100K World Cup. With over 30 years of coaching experience, Janet has helped elite and recreational runners transform their performance through a holistic approach that integrates movement, mindfulness, and lifestyle balance. Her coaching emphasizes not only physical technique but also the deeper connection between body and mind that makes running a truly enriching experience.
