♻️ Got empty or half-used Isopro canisters? Drop them off at your local REI and we’ll take care of safely emptying and recycling them for you. As a thank-you for doing your part, you’ll receive a coupon for 23% off one full-price REI Co-op Brand item or shop service (valid through 12/31/25; exclusions apply). 🛠️ We’ll also have tools available for purchase that let you combine partially used canisters or safely puncture and prep them for future recycling. Our team is happy to walk you through how to use them properly. ⚠️ Important: This program is for Isopro canisters only—specifically the 4 oz. (110g), 8 oz. (220g), and 16 oz. (450g) sizes containing an isobutane/propane blend. We cannot accept standard 1 lb. green propane canisters or pure butane canisters.
