Closet Cleanout for a Cause

With the days growing shorter and the temperatures starting to drop, now’s the perfect time to start getting ready for winter and help your community while you're at it! REI Bedford is here to help you clear out your closet to make room for some warmer gear and help support those in need. On October 4th (9a - 8p) and 5th (9a - 6p), bring your used clothing to REI Bedford. If your items are eligible, you may be able to trade them in for an REI gift card through REI’s Re/Supply program. If they're not, you’ll have the opportunity to donate them to Families in Transition (FIT), a Manchester-based nonprofit working to prevent homelessness. As a thank you, anyone who donates articles of clothing to FIT will receive a coupon worth 23% off one full-price REI Co-op brand item (excluding bicycles) or one REI Co-op Shop Service (excluding parts). Important Details: REI's Re/Supply trade-in program is available to REI members only, but you can become a member during your visit. Donations to FIT and coupons are open to everyone, no membership required. Limit one coupon per donating family. All items must be clean, free of damage, and in good condition.
