Notes
Backcountry skiing is the ultimate freedom. We get to choose where and when we go in the mountains and enjoy some fantastic powder skiing along the way. This also means that we end up playing in an uncontrolled environment where avalanches are a distinct possibility. Learn from the pros at Sawtooth Mountain Guides where we’ve been teaching avalanche education since 1985. We’ll teach you about what avalanches are, why they happen, where they happen and more. We’ll be able to answer many of your questions and point you in the right direction for learning more about this powerful and fascinating aspect of nature
