Can I place a tax-exempt order?

REI is unable to remove sales tax from individual or member orders. For information on how sales tax is calculated, please see Sales Tax.

Individuals with tax-exempt status can request their paid sales tax be reimbursed by emailing their tax exemption documents and order number(s) to: payment-services@support.rei.com

Corporate & Group Sales

Groups with tax exempt status should contact our Sales department to submit their tax exemption prior to placing their order.
