Typically we ask for our customers to get to the store to pick up their items within two weeks of their arrival. If you need to make alternate accommodations I recommend reaching out to the REI Store where you are having your item delivered. You can speak with them about your needs specifically.

@Altmanbon This is a great question. When you place and order and select "pick up in store" you will recieve a number of emails. The first will be an order confirmation, followed by an email when your order is "ready for pick up." Starting the day the order is ready for pick up, you will have 14 days to pick up your order. You will also recieve a 7-day notification that your order will be cancelled if not picked up within 14 days of 'Ready for Pickup' confirmation. If you need assistance with your order pick up or have questions once it arrives, don't hesistate to reach out to the store you are picking up from.
