We're a little out there

Hi, we’re REI. Outdoorsy, friendly, 81 years young. You may know us for our stylish zip-off pants. But we lead adventure trips and tours, too. Why travel with us? Five reasons…

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the trip, and the mileage can vary quite a bit day to day. You can find specific mileage on the daily itinerary for each trip, but it's in the ballpark of 15–78 miles per day for road/gravel tours, and 10–50 miles per day for mountain bike trips. The activity level for each trip can give you a sense for how long the days will be too.

Why travel with REI?

Cyclists on mountain bikes ride toward the setting sun on a quiet road encircled by rice paddies.

Adventure travel reimagined

For decades, we’ve been leading trips to the world’s most storied places, but doing it the REI way. Much more than sightseeing expeditions, these are wholly immersive experiences you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to get into, we’ve got a trip that’ll make your dream vacation come true. Visit like a local, explore at your own pace, and eat like a king (or a vegan king, if that’s more your thing).
